I had a delicious hamburger in Higashiyama, Kyoto!

I got off at Higashiyama Station on the Tozai Line of the Kyoto Municipal Subway and was looking for a place to have lunch before going to Miyakomesse, the Kyoto Municipal Industrial Exhibition Hall. I found a hamburger shop called 58Diner near Miyakomesse, so I went there.

Ride for about 5 minutes and get off at Karasuma-Oike Station on the Subway Karasuma Line. Change to the Tozai Line subway at this station. The transfer time is about 3 minutes. The destination is Rokujizo. It takes about 4 minutes to arrive at Higashiyama Station on the Tozai Line.

As one would expect from a popular restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant, there were about three groups of three or four families waiting. When it was our turn, a group of about 6 mothers and their children who had made reservations also entered the restaurant. We were shown to the second floor, and both the first and second floors were almost full. We went to a table for two with a small table and chairs.

　My companion ordered the 58 cheeseburger lunch box. 58 cheeseburger is a burger with BBQ sauce, Kraft bacon, tomato, lettuce and onion. The lunch box comes with the burger, coleslaw and fries. (In the photo, the coleslaw is hidden behind the burger.) I ordered the Neo Classic Burger (tartar sauce, red cabbage, fries, onions, and dill). This morning, I had eaten a hearty breakfast, so I decided to have a smaller portion. The Neo Classic Burger by itself is ￥980.

There were written instructions with illustrations on how to eat the hamburger by the table. This was my first time eating such a large hamburger, so these instructions were very helpful!
